Things all around us are blooming to life agian. After the long blustery, gray winter its refreshing to see green and beautiful colors surrounding us again. Much has happened since March. Tim lost more teeth and has mastered bike riding, Lily turned five and still loves wearing dresses as often as she can, Lucy is big into signing ASL from watching the movies Signing Time. Nathaniel has learned how to crawl and has gained two new bottom teeth. Paul has recieved his call to be the Assistant Pastor here at St. Andrews and he has graduated. I have just keep busy making sure all is fed, clothed, and kept in good health both physically and mentally.
The colors of are new chapter in life is now in bloom. With the excitment of knowing we will be here in Rockton for a while we can now continue to plant roots and nourish what we have already planted here this past fall. Brown boxes can now be opened and cherished things can now be put out for the Sunlight to shine down on them creating prisms of colors all around. Setting new goals and watching How the Good Lord will guide us in achieving them adds the enthusiastic colors of pink and yellow. Still we need to remember the bulbs we planted that brought us here today. The Friendships we've made, like tulips, will forever blossom beautiful colors as the connections made in St. Louis will always be close to our hearts. And even though days may pass may our prayers be heard to help us keep in contact and watered in God's love of true freindship.
Wow, I'm not usually such a creative writer, but I felt the colors all around me as the sun shone down on me today. I reflect on things that the Lord has blessed our lives with and the blessings are too much to count. We are so grateful for all that has been done for us these past four years. We really would not have made it if it were not for all of our friends and family. God has made it possible for Paul to be able to go to school and still care for and love his family. I am very proud of him for all that he as worked so hard to become. Yes he has graduated and soon will be ordained as a Pastor, but he has grown much more than that. He has become a man of God not just as a Pastor, but as a father, a husband, and a friend. Whether in a Church or at home or an airplane hanger he is wanting to share God's love with everyone he meets. And to everyone out there that may be reading this please know that you do not have to go to four years of the Sem to be this, You do not have to be a pastor to know all this, all you have to do is Love the Lord your God because He Loves you first.
